After their vacation from Italy, Australian actress Nicole Kidman and daughter Sunday Rose touched down at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday. According to SHE magazine, she does not want to be separated from her husband Keith Urban for longer than few days. “I’m not going on location unless we all go together,” she says. She mentioned that she and her husband never text or email. When they are apart they write letters to each other and slip them in others luggage/bag or sometimes under the pillow.
“I used to have a crazy schedule, but then I reached a point in my life where I didn’t want to live like that anymore. I’ve worked since I was 14 … but now my priority is my family — my baby, my husband — and that’s non-negotiable.”
The sexy Brazilian supermom, Gisele Bundchen graces the cover of Vogue’s April issue. Gisele opens up about giving birth to baby Benjamin and how she get her pre-baby body back. She gave birth at home (Boston) in a deep bathtub with warm water that overlooks the Charles River. Her mother and husband Tom Brady, and a mid-wife were present to assists her.
“It was the most amazing experience of my life, feeling him come through my body,” she says. “And once he was born, I never felt so empowered as looking at him and thinking, Oh, my God, we did it together!”
According to Gisele, she only gained 30 pounds during her pregnancy. She did not have any problem getting her pre-baby body back because she exercised regularly. “I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week,” she says. She’s also conscious of what she ate.
I can almost see it
That dream I’m dreaming but
There’s a voice inside my head sayin,
You’ll never reach it,
Every step I’m taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high
There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb
The struggles I’m facing,
The chances I’m taking
Sometimes they knock me down but
No I’m not breaking
The pain I’m knowing
But these are the moments that
I’m going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,
I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on,
There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb
There’s always going to be another mountain
I’m always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb
Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It’s all about
It’s all about
The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faith

For a couple of months I have been looking for best and unique blog makeover for my blogs but I can’t find one that is affordable yet beautiful. Today, when i was blog hopping I saw a free blog makeover giveaway. LadyJava is celebrating her birthday and her 25th wedding anniversary this month. Because of her generosity and love to her readers she is hosting the Blog MakeOver Giveaway. I saw her works they are all pretty. I love the layout and designs she made on other website. This is my first time joining a blog make over contest and I hope to win so I could give a new look for my site.
If you anyone interested visit Lady Java’s website. The contest will run until 25th of March 2010. The winner would be chosen via random.org and will be notified on 31st March 2010.
I always wake up early so that I could prepare hubby’s breakfast and his lunchbox. Then after that if I having nothing to do I go back to bed and join my baby sleeping. My hubby has this habit of not eating breakfast even there is food ready in the fridge and all he has to do is reheat in the microwave. He even does not want to eat cereal or oatmeal but if I prepared it for him that is the only time he will eat his breakfast. And then at night I already set aside which food I am going to cook just to save time.
My baby still not feeling well. He has cold and cough. I don’t know where he got it. Hubby too has cold when he wakes up this morning. I feel so bad about them especially for my baby. He is too young to get sick. Maybe he got it when we went to church last Sunday. Joane bought pediatric electrolyte solution to prevent Josh from having dehydration. The pediatric electrolyte juice will restore the water and mineral that he has lost due to diarrhea. My poor baby I hope he gets well soon same to my hubby.
Check out these stylish and sophisticated Silver Cross Pram, they’re so beautiful. These hand-built baby carriage is used by British Royal family for generations. Even Hollywood couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony was seen using a Silver Cross pram for their children that costs $2,900. Wow! that is so expensive. I don’t think i would mind spending such big amount of money for baby gear. But if I am wealthy then I guess I would buy this luxurious baby pram. The soon to be married Nicole Richie and rocker Joel Madden was also seen pushing this expensive Silver Cross pram.
It’s Monday again which means it’s time to go back to work. For my Music Monday here is the Regine Velasquez version of “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan”. I like Lea Salonga version but I can’t find it. Every time I hear this song it evokes the nostalgic memories of my childhood. The song is about the love between a mother and a child. I hope baby will love this song too. This is for him.
SA UGOY NG DUYAN
Music by Lucio San Pedro
Lyrics by Levi Celerio
Puso kong may dusa

Next week we are going to pick up our WIC coupons in Lombard. Since hubby has work on that day, we asked Ninong Art to give us a ride. WIC (Women, Infant and Children) is a special supplemental health and nutrition program for pregnant and breastfeeding women and children up to five years of age. They provide nutritional foods such as milk, peanut butter, cheese, eggs, juice, dried beans, dried beans, whole grain bread, tortillas, iron-fortified infant formula and $8.00 dollars that you can buy for fresh fruits and vegetables. Josh is receiving nine cans of Enfamil Lipil every month (12.9 oz) aside from the milk that we are getting from Manang Nanet ( hubby’s relative). Right now I have one box that full of Enfamil milk cans. I wonder if baby josh can consumed all those milk before it expired. Sometimes my baby doesn’t drink that much. When I asked Ate Oyet regarding his drinking habit she said it is normal because he is undergoing a natural development. It seems everyday he is getting big and taller. I do not know how much he weighs now. Will find it when he has his fourth month check-up on Monday. The other day we gave him his first cereal and he finished half of it. We gave him banana using his Munchkin baby mesh feeder. He really like it and he can finished 1/4 of one banana. He also like drinking his Gerber organic apple juice. I am giving him solids one at a time to know if he has allergic reaction to certain food.
How will I know when my baby’s ready?
Your baby will give you clear signs when he’s ready to move beyond liquid-only nourishment. Cues to look for include:
• Head control. Your baby needs to be able to keep his head in a steady, upright position.
• Losing the “extrusion reflex.” To keep solid food in his mouth and then swallow it, your baby needs to stop using his tongue to push food out of his mouth.
• Sitting well when supported. Even if he’s not quite ready for a highchair, your baby needs to be able to sit upright to swallow well.
• Chewing motions. Your baby’s mouth and tongue develop in sync with his digestive system. To start solids, he should be able to move food to the back of his mouth and swallow. As he learns to swallow efficiently, you may notice less drooling. He may also be teething around the same time.
• Significant weight gain. Most babies are ready to eat solids when they’ve doubled their birth weight (or weigh about 15 pounds) and are at least 4 months old.
• Growing appetite. He seems hungry — even with eight to ten feedings of breast milk or formula a day.
• Curiosity about what you’re eating. Your baby may begin eyeing your bowl of rice or reaching for a forkful of fettuccine as it travels from your plate to your mouth. source.
