Yesterday, we went to Joshua’s doctor for his 9 months check-up. His appointment was 5 pm and we arrived 30 minutes earlier. There were few people waiting so we were attended immediately. They gave him one shot and baby josh cried again.

baby josh is now 9 months today. we have to start childproofing around the house because he likes to walk now. he really walks so fast. he does not like to eat baby foods anymore like the gerber, he prefers table foods like rice. his favorite is sinigang and macaroni soup. he still likes listening to MTV instead of cartoons. he sleeps late at night not until 1 am. though he takes at least two naps (power nap) during the day. his favorite toy to play is ball. he also likes looking at the pictures of the books. he only have two teeth. he still has two central bottom teeth.

Being a mom for 7 months and 9 days is one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. Sleepless nights, aching shoulder ( baby wants to be carried most of the time), entertaining him all the time, changing his clothes and diapers, giving him a bath, feeding him, washing his bottles and lullabies to get him to sleep: these are the few things that you will have to do everyday aside from the household chores. Motherhood is the most challenging work yet it is also the most satisfying occupation. Even you work all day and all night, the reward seeing your child’s smile and laughter is like antidote to all the pain and tiredness. It is like a power or energy drink that will keep you going and be optimistic for brighter future even when things seems to go wrong. They are your hope that reminds you not to wave the white flag and fight till the end. That’s what makes motherhood all about. You will protect your child from all evil things. You always want good things for them. With them you will experience flood of feelings, some of wonder and joy and others confusion. These feelings can only be experience if you are a mom. I admit that I am not prepared to be a mom. But he is the greatest gift I ever received and I will treasure and give my everything to prepare him for his brighter future. And I thank God for the wonderful and miracle he gave to me and my husband.
Baby josh visited his Dr. Han for his 7 months check-up last Monday. We arrived early on our scheduled time and good thing there were only few patients there. His Pediatrician gave him 2 shots. As usual baby josh cried when the doctor injected the shots but after a couple of minutes he stopped crying. Our next schedule with his doctor is after two months.

After his check-up we went to Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Store to buy necklace for our fusion scalar energy pendant. Then we went to Half Price book store to buy some books. I bought three Nicholas Sparks books and Nicolae of Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins.

As a MOTHERwe do lots of sacrifices for our kids & love ones but its ALL WORTH IT! Enjoy this day especially dedicated to us.
I always wake up early so that I could prepare hubby’s breakfast and his lunchbox. Then after that if I having nothing to do I go back to bed and join my baby sleeping. My hubby has this habit of not eating breakfast even there is food ready in the fridge and all he has to do is reheat in the microwave. He even does not want to eat cereal or oatmeal but if I prepared it for him that is the only time he will eat his breakfast. And then at night I already set aside which food I am going to cook just to save time.
My baby still not feeling well. He has cold and cough. I don’t know where he got it. Hubby too has cold when he wakes up this morning. I feel so bad about them especially for my baby. He is too young to get sick. Maybe he got it when we went to church last Sunday. Joane bought pediatric electrolyte solution to prevent Josh from having dehydration. The pediatric electrolyte juice will restore the water and mineral that he has lost due to diarrhea. My poor baby I hope he gets well soon same to my hubby.
